Ladies of the First Baptist Church of Pequea, thank you for allowing me to speak at your Ladies' Day yesterday! I had a delightful time! I was blessed to hear some of your stories and how God is working in your lives.
This song has been running through my mind for the past week as I prepared to speak to you about spiritual beauty. Remember that you have incredible worth because you are created in God's image (tselem) and Christ died for you!
Amy Stroup - "Redeeming Love"
It's too late to tell
The damage done
It's too late to find
Where the source came from
Forgiveness call
It beckons me
To find the courage and let it be
And I fix my eyes
On redeeming love
And I fix my eyes
On redeeming love
And I fix my eyes
On redeeming love
I fix my eyes on redeeming love
You can’t turn back time
You can’t erase the truth
You can’t relieve the things
You wanna undo
So fall forward
Let it mark your soul
Keep your heart tender
And your thoughts bold
And I fix my eyes
On redeeming love
And I fix my eyes
On redeeming love
And I fix my eyes
On redeeming love
I fix my eyes on redeeming love
And I fix my eyes
On redeeming love
And I fix my eyes
On redeeming love
And I fix my eyes
On redeeming love
I fix my eyes on redeeming love
Great song......gives me something to think about. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteAt small group we are going through an Andy Stanley study called "Breakaway." In last night session he said that "the value of something is determined by the price it brings or that one is willing to pay for it. God was willing to pay for us with the life of His only son. I'd say that makes us VERY valuable. Another thought that Andy left us with is "Everybody we lay our eyes on is somebody Jesus thought was valuable enough to die for."
