About Me

Daena
Welcome! My name is Daena Longenecker, and I am a marriage and family therapist in private practice in Mt. Joy, Pa. My first career as a teacher provided a great foundation to my next career as a home school mom for 15 years. In 2013 I graduated summa cum laude from Evangelical Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy. My husband, Joe, and I have been married for almost 25 years. We have three delightful children: Joseph, a graduate of the University of Chicago; Hana, a junior at Lehigh University; and Emma, a junior in a local Christian high school. Our nephew, Josiah, married his beautiful wife, Marie, this past year; he attends Kutztown University. Hope Community Church in Mount Joy has been our church home since 1993.
